MPH student gains valuable experience with AHEC internship

UWM Master of Public Health student James Groh was recently featured in the Milwaukee Area Health Education Center (AHEC) newsletter. In the newsletter, Groh spoke about his experiences in AHEC’s Community Health Internship Program (CHIP):

“Milwaukee AHEC provided me with a foundation for my career in public health both academically and professionally. Being a part of CHIP allowed me the opportunity to not only immerse myself in the public health efforts occurring in Milwaukee, but be a part of them firsthand. Currently I am building off of my experience with Milwaukee AHEC as I finish my MPH while focusing on social epidemiology and health equity.”
