January 2, 2017 Student E-Newsletter

It is hard to believe that 2017 has come to end, but with that comes 2018 and an opportunity for new beginnings. This January, take time to reflect upon the past year, both personally and academically. Everyone knows the stigma behind New year’s Resolutions: they never last. Don’t let this discourage you or make you feel silly for trying. It’s important to make goals realistic, concrete, and measurable. Then, pursue them fearlessly and relentlessly. Everyday, you get to start over; this new year is just a reminder.
This year is YOURS.

So what will you do for yourself this semester? Volunteer, make the bed every morning, maybe drink more water? Perhaps complete all of your assigned work and readings before class.

Sending you well wishes as you begin 2018!
