DESCRIPTION:Special Screening and Panel Discussion \nThe Zilber School is pleased to host a special screening of  Gabby Giffords Won’t Back Down on Thursday\, November 3rd. \nGabby Giffords Won’t Back Down tells the extraordinary story of former Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and her relentless fight to recover following an assassination attempt in 2011\, and her new life as one of the most effective activists in the battle against gun violence. It is the story of a rising star transformed by gun violence and a close-up portrait of the marriage that sustains her. \nAfter the screening guests are invited to stay for an engaging community conversation on working together in Wisconsin to leverage our courage to fight gun violence into meaning policy change. \nConfirmed panelists include: \n\n\nGiffords Senior Advisor Former Congresswoman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (Moderator)\nState Senator LaTonya Johnson\nState Representative Deb Andraca\nReggie Moore\, Director of Violence Prevention Policy and Engagement at the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Comprehensive Injury Center\n\n\nPlease RSVP here for the event.
