DESCRIPTION:Summer is sizzling with fun FitWell courses. Hit the sand for in-person Beach Sports. Catch some waves for in-person Sailing. Stay active with Running\, Physical Conditioning\, Yoga or Bowling (all online). Reduce stress and improve focus with several online Meditation courses. 1- or 2- elective credit courses are offered in person or online. Undergraduate credits are applied toward GPA. \nExplore the FitWell Summer 2026 PDF Catalog of available courses.\nOpen Enrollment starts April 4. \n\nEarly: June 1 – June 27 (4 weeks) / 1 online course\nEarly: June 1 – July 11 (6 weeks) / 3 online courses\nEnrollment closes June 3.\n\n  \n\nMidterm: June 15 – July 25 (6 weeks) / 2 online courses\nEnrollment closes June 17.\n\n  \n\nJune 29 – August 8 (6 weeks) / 2 online & 2 in-person courses\nJune 29 – August 22 (8 weeks) / 1 online course\nEnrollment closes July 1.\n\nFind more details at FitWell’s website.  Register via PAWS or Stellic\, and select “FitWell” under subject. SUMMARY:Zilber College of Public Health Seminar - Everyone Deserves a Healthy Smile: Improving Oral Health Access in Wisconsin
DESCRIPTION:Presented by \nDr. Sidney M. Ebert\, DDS\nDirector of Dental Services\nCommunity Smiles \nDr. Sidney Ebert is the Director of Dental Services at Community Smiles Dental\, a non-profit organization that provides high-quality dental care to underserved populations throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.  Community Smiles Dental focuses on programs providing oral health services to children\, pregnant patients\, and patients with special healthcare needs who are insured by Medicaid or have income that falls at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and are uninsured.  \nWisconsin Medicaid members face significant barriers to accessing oral health care.  Despite Medicaid providing comprehensive coverage for dental services\, the majority of its members never receive comprehensive dental care. \nThis presentation will highlight: \n\nPopulations experiencing the highest oral health disparities\nBarriers to oral health access\nStrategies for improving oral health access in Wisconsin\n\nThe seminar can also be attended virtually on Teams.
