Free Pop-up Candlelight Yoga Classes with FitWell

Move your body slowly and with intention by candlelight! This event is FREE for UWM students.
Join FitWell for all-level, 45-minute pop-up yoga classes.
Take care of your body, mind and spirit. Experience a mindfully-based yoga class focusing on gentle postures, breathing practices and relaxation. Learn centering techniques and poses to incorporate into your daily life. All levels of yoga students are welcome. Space is limited.

Session (1) 6:00 – 6:45 pm // Check-in at 5:45 pm
Session (2) 7:15 – 8:00 pm // Check-in at 7:00 pm
Sessions will start and end on time to accommodate clean-up between sessions.
Pre-registration/RSVP (to help with planning) before NOON on 2/10.
- Arrive 15 minutes early! Check-in with our team at the FitWell table.
- Bring your UWM ID, mobile phone, a yoga mat or towel, a bottle of water and a FRIEND.
- We will have a limited number of yoga mats available.
- At Check-in, use your phone to COMPLETE your liability and photo/media release waivers via QR code. Or COMPLETE before attending the event.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Colleen Kehoe has been practicing yoga for over a decade and teaching since 2018. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200. Colleen was drawn to teaching to help yoga students (re)connect to themselves and have a little fun too. In yoga, she is interested in inquiry rather than correction, and awareness rather than control. Colleen creates and maintains a supportive, secure, and stable environment encouraging and allowing personal growth and discovery. Besides instructing yoga at UW-Milwaukee, she teaches multiple weekly classes at Tosa Yoga Center.
