In recognition of academic excellence, the Department of Psychology will select two outstanding doctoral admittees to receive the prestigious Cialdini Fellowships. These fellowships are made possible through a generous gift to UWM from Dr. Robert Cialdini ’67 and Bobette Gorden. Dr. Cialdini, an internationally renowned social psychologist and distinguished alumnus of our department, was honored with UWM’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015. His remarkable contributions to the field continue to inspire future generations of scholars.
Cialdini Fellows will receive an annual stipend of $5,000, awarded in addition to their departmental teaching, research, or project assistantship salaries. This highly competitive fellowship is renewable for up to five years, contingent upon the recipient’s strong academic performance, satisfactory progress, and the availability of funds.
