Biographical Sketch

Nasrin is a Ph.D. student and has BA and MA degrees in political science in Iran. She has another BA and MA degrees in Translation Studies. Prior to joining UWM, she was a freelance translator. Her major research interest and the focus of her translations is Diaspora. Latin America’s literature and political sociology focusing on the sociology of consumption in Iran are her other research interests.
