Please allow extra time to park when you visit. \n\n\n\nParking permit booth\n\n\n\nCunningham Lot parking is available for purchase just north of the Physics building. The entrance is at the corner of Cramer and Hartford. Please be sure to avoid the spots that are for permit holders (they say “This spot is reserved for staff/faculty”). Pricing varies from $1-2/hour depending on the time and day. \n\n\n\nYou may be able to find street parking (both metered and free) but be sure to read the street signs for restrictions. \n\n\n\nPayment for parking spots can be done by using the Parkmobile smartphone app or pay stations located on the perimeter of the lot. Purchase a parking ticket from one of the booths by entering your license plate number and the amount of time you will be parked. Pricing varies from $1-2/hour depending on the time and day. \n\n\n\nYou may be able to find street parking (both metered and free) but be sure to read the street signs for restrictions. \n\n\n\nPayment for parking spots can be done by using the Parkmobile smartphone app or pay stations located on the perimeter of the lot. Purchase a parking ticket from one of the booths by entering your license plate number and the amount of time you will be parked. DESCRIPTION:Rooftop Stargazing\nFriday\, July 19 2024\n8-9 PM\nJoin us on the Skydeck at the UWM Physics building for free public stargazing. Gaze through telescopes at the night sky and view the Moon\, planets\, star clusters\, and other astronomical objects! This event is open to the public. \nThe Skydeck is located on the 5th floor of the Physics building. Follow the pink signs to take the elevator at the east end of the Physics building to the 3rd floor and continue left to the staircase that leads to the roof. Unfortunately\, the Skydeck is not wheelchair accessible. \nIn the event of inclement weather (cloudy skies\, temperature below 0° F)\, we will cancel this event. Follow the pink signs to take the elevator at the east end of the Physics building to the 3rd floor and continue left to the staircase that leads to the roof. Unfortunately\, the Skydeck is not wheelchair accessible.\nIn the event of inclement weather (cloudy skies\, temperature below 0° F)\, we will cancel this event. DESCRIPTION:Rooftop Stargazing\n8:00–9:00pm\n\nFREE\nJoin us on the Skydeck at the UWM Physics building for free public stargazing. Gaze through telescopes at the night sky and view the Moon\, planets\, star clusters\, and other astronomical objects! \nThe Skydeck is located on the 5th floor of the Physics building. Follow the pink signs to take the elevator at the east end of the Physics building to the 3rd floor and continue left to the staircase that leads to the roof. Unfortunately\, the Skydeck is not wheelchair accessible.\nIn the event of inclement weather (cloudy skies\, temperature below 0° F)\, we will cancel this event. Enjoy eating delicious s’mores and relax outside while gazing at summer constellations and the moon through our telescopes. S’mores kits are free (one per person while supplies last).
