Asian Celebrations

Experience celestial celebrations across Asia, from the Chinese New Year to the Japanese Spring Blossom festival. Each date features a different guest speaker who will talk about their country, culture, and connections to the night sky. We’ll take questions at the end of the program through the chat.

Tickets are “pay what you can”: $0, $5, or $15. We realize that not everyone may be in a financial position to support us. We still want you to join us. If you are able to purchase tickets, you are supporting our talented team of undergraduate students who help design our programs and assist with many other aspects of our operations. Bonus offer: Pay $15 and get an individual membership with your ticket (a $50 value). A membership gets you free access to all of our shows for one year (online and at the planetarium when we resume in-person programming). You will receive a separate email with details about your membership.
