Generalized temperature and accelerated dynamics <\/strong> I will present recent work involved with the computation of the temperature registered by an Unruh-DeWitt detector coupled to a Hadamard renormalizable quantum field and moving along an arbitrary accelerated trajectory in curved spacetime. Then, focusing on the temperature due to acceleration, i.e. the Unruh effect, I will present an effective Fermi theory of acceleration-induced interactions. This accelerated quantum dynamics provides a framework for computing a wide class of observables to probe the physics of high acceleration.
