Sarah joined the UWM TRIO SSS Team in the Spring 2018 semester. Previously, Sarah was the SSS financial aid liaison and an associate advisor for the Department of Financial Aid. She is happy to share her knowledge to be able to help you navigate the financial aid process!
Originally from Cudahy/St. Francis, Sarah was a TRIO McNair Scholar during her undergraduate career at UW-River Falls. While earning her master’s degree at Michigan Statue University, she volunteered for the McNair Program and mentored scholars in the lab. In addition to advising SSS students, Sarah is a liaison to the UWM TRIO McNair Scholars program. Therefore, if you are thinking graduate school may be in your future, she can give you the 411.
With two science degrees, (BS in Animal Science and chemistry and MS in comparative medicine and integrative biology) Sarah is happy to talk science with anyone interested. Sarah assists SSS students with their advising needs, while helping students to transition from SSS to their major departments and ultimately graduate from their chosen major’s school or college.
