The UWM Graduate School is hosting its 5th annual Graduate School Open House on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Union. This is an opportunity for you to engage directly with faculty and staff from your program of interest, and gain insight on what a graduate education at UWM could mean for you.

Come see why UWM is one of the best places to pursue your advanced degree. UWM is classified as an R1 research institution by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. This is the highest level of research activity, and this rating was given to only 115 of the 4,665 universities evaluated this year. In Wisconsin, UWM is one of only two universities that received the rating. There is no better time to explore a UWM graduate program.

UWM’s Graduate School continues to grow in size and stature, with outstanding faculty in our more than 135 graduate programs in a broad variety of fields. Our graduate programs offer excitingresearch opportunities with state-of-the-art facilities, more than 170 labs, centers and institutes. We also offer more than $6 million annually in assistantships, fellowships and scholarships.
