Student Emily Ruder Travels to Kenya with Overseas Travel Grant

Emily Ruder (Senior) conducts undergraduate research in Kenya during the Summer of 2019. She was awarded an Overseas Travel Grant through the Office of Undergraduate Research. Emily spent 60 days collecting data on sustainable charcoal production under the supervision of Dr. Mai Phillips in the Conservation and Environmental Science Department at UWM. She will be giving an oral presentation at the 2020 Undergraduate Research Symposium about the work she did in Kenya.
