Description

The objective of this project is to develop an in-house code to process medical images for some clinical applications in diagnosis of diseases. However, its applicability is not limited to the clinical purposes. One important application of medical images is in analyzing the changes caused by different diseases. This project is part of a big project on using the medical images to diagnosis, prediction, and treatment of patients suffering from those diseases. You will work on medical images in both healthy and diseased states to quantify the changes associated with disease progression. The results of this project will have a great impact on easing the conversion of medical images to the forms ready for further computational analysis and assisting the clinicians with on-time interventions and treatment planning.
