Description

The research is to examine, using literature review methods, the relationships between 1) substance use disorders and human sex trafficking/sex work, and 2) substance use disorders and COVID-19 diagnosis and outcomes. Both will also take into consideration co-variates such as age, race, gender, mental health disorders, and reproductive/sexual health. Themes, trends, and gaps in the literature will be highlighted.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The student will help with examining the literature and assisting with identifying the themes and gaps. The student will also become familiar with the literature review writing process, including formatting, methods for inclusion/exclusion, and actual writing/editing. Furthermore, the student will help to ensure that the co-author team sticks to the timeline for manuscript submission.
