For those of you applying to graduate schools right now, and juniors planning to apply next year, especially those of you in the sciences (including psychology), I recommend you take a look at this competitive fellowship opportunity, and come to the meeting or otherwise let me know if you may be interested in applying!  These deadlines are in October for students planning to attend graduate school next year, so there will be a quick turnaround on application materials, including letters of recommendation, but this is an incredibly prestigious fellowship opportunity that provides an annual stipend of $34,000 for up to three years. Several SURF students have been awarded these, and we can provide support via discussion, sample applications, and feedback on application materials.
