Please join us for this informational session on an exciting new UWM partnership with the Medical College of Wisconsin. This program seeks up to 10 UWM undergraduates (freshman, sophomore or junior level) for a year-long experience during the 2022-23 academic year that will include a weekly seminar meeting, networking with MCW cancer researchers, training in the responsible conduct of research, laboratory experience, and the writing of a research proposal. The students will be compensated for their time in an MCW lab at $12/hour up to $3,000 during the academic year. Students who have their proposals funded can earn a fellowship of up to $10,000 during the summer of 2023 to engage full-time in the research work proposed in their research mentor’s lab.
