December 16: Community Empowerment and Justice Symposium Proposals Due

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD: All UWM undergraduate students are invited to submit proposals for the Community Empowerment and Justice Symposium (formerly Race, Justice, Power Conference) to be held in April. Whether you have a short academic paper, a personal narrative, a poem or performance piece, a poster presentation, a research-driven analysis, a short film, etc., we are highlighting student explorations and experiences of race and racism, how they intersect with other asymmetries of power, and how we can work to foster greater equity. Awards of up to $300 for outstanding presentations. The deadline for submissions is December 16, 2024. Get more details and submit your proposals here.
