About the Survey

The Wisconsin Survey of Educator Development, Support, and Retention is designed to capture important aspects of how educators experience their evaluation and support processes. The survey measures a number of important aspects of school organization including:

  • The types, amounts, and quality of feedback provided to educators
  • Teacher perceptions of the effectiveness of their principal
  • Teacher job satisfaction

The two reports below present example reports that schools with 40% participation will receive.

The PowerPoint below walks you through interpreting these reports.

Monitor your district’s response rates

The following links include district response rates for the WEDSR. These rates are updated in real time as teachers take the survey. If your district is not included in the reports, that means none of your teachers have taken the survey.
