You have to be very brave,&#8221; Aoua says. &#8220;Today [my daughter] is proud, telling people, &#8216;my mom is going to become a nurse.'&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aoua plans to attend grad school and work as a bedside nurse with Froedtert Hospital.
