Extensive on-campus and online courses are offered for the Master&#8217;s of Nursing (direct-entry master&#8217;s, or RN\/BS to Master&#8217;s of Nursing). In addition, our programs include an experiential learning component in partnership with community and clinical partners.<\/div><a class=\"uwm-p-card--link\" href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/nursing\/academics\/?_program_type_facet=masters\">View Master&#8217;s Programs<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\">Doctoral Programs<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">Doctoral students are key research and clinical partners in the School of Nursing. Students in either the PhD in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree design projects that increase the discipline of nursing knowledge and that influence how practice is undertaken.<\/div><a class=\"uwm-p-card--link\" href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/nursing\/academics\/?_program_type_facet=doctoral\">View Doctoral Programs<\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-card uwm-u-mb-40 uwm-p-card--gold\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--body\"><div class=\"uwm-p-card--title\">Graduate Certificate Programs<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-card--content\">The School of Nursing offers a wide variety of graduate certificate options, including post-master&#8217;s specialty role certificates such as the acute care adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, family nurse practitioner, and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
