UW-Milwaukee College of Nursing’s graduate programs are again ranked among the best in the nation according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2021 edition of “American’s Best Graduate Schools.”
UW-Milwaukee College of Nursing has consistently been ranked in the top 15% of schools with graduate programs, specifically for the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Nursing programs. This year the college moved up in rankings:
- Master of Nursing ranked #74 out of 603 total schools
- Doctor of Nursing Practice ranked #59 out of 603 schools
Dean Kim Litwack responded to the news of the improved rankings by saying, “Top rankings are important because they validate our success in preparing expertly trained nurse leaders through innovative, quality, education programs that focus on evidence-based practice and interprofessional collaboration.”
U.S. News first published a reputation-only graduate school ranking in 1987. The annual “America’s Best Graduate Schools” report began in 1990.
