Clinical Assistant Professor

My background is a unique integration of nursing research, education and practice - caring for at-risk families and communities – with over 27 years of developing and managing creative collaborative partnerships in an academic nurse managed health center model. As an educator, I have taught population health and nursing role theory to almost 1,100 nursing students and led over 200 nursing, medical, and social work students in interprofessional teams for their community clinical learning experiences. My nursing career is built on a commitment to holistic healing, collaboration, diversity, innovation, integrity, quality, respect for human dignity, and social justice.
