Marijo Rommelfaenger, PhD, RN
I live in a rural community in Racine County with my husband and a scruffy little black dog named Benny. We love to travel whenever possible in order to enjoy nature. My husband is a fine art photographer and I enjoy our photo opportunity treks wherever that may lead. We show his work in Fine Arts Shows over the summer and fall seasons. We have three grown and married children and I am a grandmother and love every moment of this role!
I teach in the undergraduate program and am passionate about student success. I teach at both the UWM campus and at the UW-Parkside campus. Additionally I am a faculty assessment reviewer and course designer for the UW Flex Degree program, where I am responsible for the course Research and Evidence-Based Practice. My doctoral research and continued interests are in faculty adoption of curricular change. My PhD degree is in Instructional Design and Technology. I have a Masters degree in Nursing Science, with an additional certificate in Nursing Education.
