Our faculty meet the challenges of higher education with open arms and open minds, constantly creating interdepartmental and interdisciplinary partnerships that create innovate solutions in the nursing field, all while maintaining collaborative and supportive roles among each other. The faculty, more than 1/3 of whom have been inducted as Fellows in the American Academy of Nursing, are a forward thinking community of scholars who train their students to become proficient nurses, especially when it comes to addressing the local healthcare needs of diverse populations.

Students and Alumni are partners in the success of the College of Nursing vision and mission as an urban institution. Students work closely with faculty as research and clinical partners while our Alumni continue as partners and collaborators.
