Reem Khaled Abdalgani Telfah

Reem Telfah is an experienced nurse and PhD student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she also serves as a Clinical Instructor in the School of Nursing. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing from Jordan University of Science & Technology. Her research focuses on enhancing health behaviors among elderly patients with chronic diseases, with a particular emphasis on medication self-management and overall health management. Reem has extensive clinical experience in critical care and has actively contributed to academic teaching and community health initiatives. Additionally, she is enrolled in the Gerontology Certificate program at UWM.

Current Research

My overall research program aims to enhance health behaviors among elderly patients with chronic diseases by studying the factors that affect their health condition. My research interests focus on:
1. Studying factors that affect medication self-management.
2. Interventions for enhancing medication self-management.
3. Health management for elderly patients with chronic illness.
