I live in a rural community in Racine County with my husband. We love to travel with our 5th wheel RV whenever possible in order to enjoy nature and explore the United States. My husband is a fine art photographer and I enjoy our photo opportunity treks wherever that may lead. We show his work in Fine Arts Shows over the summer and fall seasons. We have three grown and married children and I am a grandmother and love every moment of this role!

I teach in the undergraduate program and am passionate about student success. I teach within the BSN @ Home program, UWM campus. In this role, I am a faculty lead and course designer for the UW Flex Degree program, where I am responsible for the course Information Management and Healthcare Technology. My doctoral research and continued interests are in faculty adoption of curricular change. My PhD degree is in Instructional Design and Technology. I have a Masters degree in Nursing Science, with an additional certificate in Nursing Education. I am involved with the Wisconsin League for Nursing as President-Elect 2021-2022 and President 2022-2024.
