Located within the heart of Westlawn, Wisconsin’s largest subsidized housing development and within the walls of Silver Spring Neighborhood Center, the UWM Silver Spring Community Nursing Center staff provide primary health care and health promotion to area families.

Nurse clinicians partner with social workers, teachers, and youth workers in the neighborhood center to coordinate health education and prevention services. College of Nursing students benefit from the variety of educational experiences offered at the nursing center, the neighborhood center, and in the surrounding community.
