Classroom and clinical experiences provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to begin a nursing career after graduation including critical-thinking, clinical leadership, advocacy, and application of the nursing process to deliver care.

The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at UW-Milwaukee is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).  The program is also approved by the State of Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
