The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BS in Nursing) program will prepare you to be science-based, compassionate nurse leaders through innovative and quality educational programs for all specialties and settings of practice. Students can take classes at campuses in Milwaukee, Waukesha or Parkside.
What makes our program distinguished?
As the largest College of Nursing in the state, UW-Milwaukee partners with over 160 clinical agencies to prepare graduates as beginning generalists in a variety of settings. Classroom and clinical experiences provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to begin a nursing career after graduation including critical-thinking, clinical leadership, advocacy, and application of the nursing process to deliver care.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing at UW-Milwaukee is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). The program is also approved by the State of Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
