When it comes times to mate, female eastern gray tree frogs may have hundreds of male frogs to choose from. So how does she choose? That would be exceedingly difficult to figure out in the wild. So, researchers at UWM have built a \u201cfrog arena\u201d<\/a> to figure that out.<\/p>\n

In this simulated pond, researchers place a female frog in the middle and test out different calls on all sides.<\/p>\n
