Graduate programs at the UWM College of Nursing the are again ranked among the best in the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report\u2019s 2021 edition of \u201cAmerican\u2019s Best Graduate Schools<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year the college<\/a> moved up in the rankings for its Master of Nursing program (ranked No. 74 out of 603 schools) and its Doctor of Nursing Practice (ranked No. 59 out of 603 schools). The college has consistently been ranked in the top 15% of schools for the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Nursing programs.<\/p>\n

\u201cTop rankings are important because they validate our success in preparing expertly trained nurse leaders through innovative, quality education programs that focus on evidence-based practice and interprofessional collaboration,\u201d Dean Kim Litwack said.<\/p>\n

U.S. News first published a reputation-only graduate school ranking in 1987. The annual \u201cAmerica\u2019s Best Graduate Schools\u201d report began in 1990.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
