YouTuber Hank Green is coming to the Wisconsin Room at the UWM Student Union on Oct. 1<\/a>\u00a0to promote his new book, \u201cAn Absolutely Remarkable Thing<\/a>.\u201d Green and special guest Dessa will answer audience questions, talk about their books and play live music.<\/p>\n

Green is best known for sharing video blogs with his brother, bestselling author John Green, through their YouTube channel Vlogbrothers and being the producer of the educational YouTube channels Crash Course and SciShow.<\/p>\n

While on the tour, Dessa will be promoting her new book \u201cMy Own Devices: True Stories from the Road about Music, Science and Senseless Love<\/a>.\u201d Dessa\u2019s 2018 \u201cChimes\u201d has been ranked one of the top 40 best music albums in 2018 by NPR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tickets for UWM students are $20. UWM faculty and staff can buy tickets for $27; tickets for the public are $30. Tickets UWM students, faculty and staff are available for purchase at the UWM Student Union.<\/p>\n

VIP meet-and-greet tickets are sold out.<\/p>\n
