A panther and a couple of soccer teams will greet students at Hartford University School, 2227 E. Hartford Ave., from 7 to 7:30 a.m. on the first day of school, Tuesday, Sept. 5.<\/p>\n
The panther, Pounce, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee\u2019s mascot, will be accompanied by the UWM men\u2019s and women\u2019s soccer teams. UWM students, faculty and staff are also planning to join in the welcome.<\/p>\n
Hartford University School, a Milwaukee Public School, is surrounded by the UWM campus, and frequently collaborates with university faculty and staff on community projects.<\/p>\n
