{"id":37961,"date":"2016-09-15T10:47:18","date_gmt":"2016-09-15T15:47:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=37961"},"modified":"2016-09-15T10:47:18","modified_gmt":"2016-09-15T15:47:18","slug":"revamped-myuw-site-debut-sept-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/revamped-myuw-site-debut-sept-27\/","title":{"rendered":"Revamped MyUW site to debut Sept. 27"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning on Sept. 27, when you log in to MyUW at <a href=\"https:\/\/my.uwm.edu\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/my.uwm.edu<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/my.wisconsin.edu\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/my.wisconsin.edu<\/a>, you\u2019ll experience the new MyUW site.<\/p>\n<p>The default view of MyUW has been upgraded for UWM to provide an improved, more modern user experience than the old, 2001 version of MyUW.<\/p>\n<p>The new MyUW opens the door to better and faster development methods for new and updated content. The new MyUW has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A responsive design (which means it\u2019s formatted to work on any device) that is sleek and less cluttered.<\/li>\n<li>Better search functionality, making it easier to find the things you need.<\/li>\n<li>Design consistency across content.<\/li>\n<li>New icon or widget (detailed) view optimizing access to information.<\/li>\n<li>New notification feature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The UW System MyUW Team has designed and continues to develop the new MyUW in a user-centered and responsive way.<\/p>\n<p>No functional changes were made to the apps. You can find a summary of features in the <a href=\"https:\/\/kb.uwm.edu\/page.php?id=65817\" target=\"_blank\">UWM KnowledgeBase<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The UWM MyUW Team has pre-populated some favorite campus apps on your home page based on your role on campus.
