Gold Standing recognizes the chapter\u2019s outstanding performance in fundraising, community service, advocacy, career awareness and member recruitment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have been extremely proud to be an adviser for our UW-Milwaukee NSSLHA Chapter since 2008,\u201d said Susan Yorio, clinical associate professor and faculty adviser along with Caitlin Croegaert, clinical assistant professor.\u00a0 \u201cThe undergraduate and graduate students with whom I have had the privilege to work have exhibited outstanding leadership, professionalism, community service, fundraising, and advocacy for the profession of speech-language pathology and audiology.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The chapter\u2019s student officers for 2015-\u201916 were Lauren Kuehl, president; Kirsten Henning, vice-president; Molly Poeske, secretary; Megan Hlinak, treasurer; Natalie Graceffa, first year grad representative; and Heather Salvo, second year grad representative.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2015-\u201916 UWM chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association received the highest possible honor given by the national organization.
