The winners, except for the Alumni Association Champion, were chosen from a pool nominated by colleagues and students.<\/p>\n<p>Leah Schreiber Johnson won the Outstanding Performance award. Bonnie Halvorsen won the Community University: We Make a Difference award for promoting partnerships between UWM and Milwaukee organizations. Julie Frey won the Unsung Hero award for her exceptional work behind the scenes at UWM.
