{"id":30822,"date":"2016-03-15T12:52:50","date_gmt":"2016-03-15T17:52:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=30822"},"modified":"2023-05-10T16:06:19","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T21:06:19","slug":"uwm-libraries-honors-three-for-outstanding-achievements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/uwm-libraries-honors-three-for-outstanding-achievements\/","title":{"rendered":"UWM Libraries honors three for outstanding achievements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recipients of 2015 UWM Libraries Outstanding Achievement Awards are Mary Boulanger, Academic Staff, Emily Li, University Staff, and Maxwell Cozzi, a student employee.<\/p>\n<p>A senior academic librarian in User Services, Boulanger was honored for her dedicated support of students, faculty, staff and colleagues, and in particular for her outreach to the Zilber School of Public Health, the College of Nursing and the College of Health Sciences. She retired in January.<\/p>\n<p>Li, a financial specialist in the Business Office, was recognized for her exceptional work overseeing the library\u2019s acquisitions budget, among many important duties, and the assistance she provided the library\u2019s interim UBR\/PREP during 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Cozzi, a senior in the Peck School of the Arts, has worked in Digital Collections &amp; Initiatives since 2014. Among his contributions were the editing of digitized videos in the \u201cWTMJ News Film\u201d collection and the creation of access files for the \u201cUWM Conversation\u201d digital collection.<\/p>\n<p>The library staff awards were established in 1992 and are underwritten by the Janet and Carl Moebius Endowment and the Friends of the Golda Meir Library.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The recipients of 2015 UWM Libraries Outstanding Achievement Awards are Mary Boulanger, Academic Staff, Emily Li, University Staff, and Maxwell Cozzi, a student employee.
