Ryoichi Amano, professor of Mechanical Engineering who came to UWM in 1996, was recently elected to a Fellow grade in the International Society for Energy, Environment and Sustainability.<\/p>\n

Ryoichi Amano, whose research involves next-generation energy systems and energy production.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Amano has been very active in development of next-generation novel energy systems for gas turbines-based conventional energy production systems as well as renewable energy production systems and water research.<\/p>\n

He is also currently a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Associate Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, from which he received the Energy Systems Award in 2013.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
