Students can also get involved with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.panthersconnect.uwm.edu\/v2\/\">Panthers Connect,<\/a> which provides mentoring and networking opportunities with UWM alumni.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here\u2019s a look at just a few of the UWM students who have secured full-time jobs before graduation.<\/p>\n<h2>Jeremi Lukos<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-156106 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2026\/05\/Jeremi-Lukos-750x500-20260326_TCF_IMC_5176.jpg\" alt=\"Jeremi Lukos sits at a table holding a pen poised over some blueprints \" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2026\/05\/Jeremi-Lukos-750x500-20260326_TCF_IMC_5176.jpg 750w, https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2026\/05\/Jeremi-Lukos-750x500-20260326_TCF_IMC_5176-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Architectural studies major Jeremi Lukos turned his internship at RINKA into a full-time designer role, where he will develop design concepts and visual presentations. His time at UWM, including roles in student government and the American Institute of Architecture Students, helped him build skills and experience. Through the grades 4-12 social studies education program for grades 4-12, she gained classroom experience and built connections around campus. &#8220;I was able to meet so many leaders and mentors, directly connecting me with the opportunities I have today,\u201d Dharani said.<\/p>\n<h2>Suzanne Gorman<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-156112 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2026\/05\/Suzanne-Gorman-750x50020260428_TCF_IMC_9749.jpg\" alt=\"Suzanne Gorman stands at the open door of some industrial equipment while wearing protective gloves \" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2026\/05\/Suzanne-Gorman-750x50020260428_TCF_IMC_9749.jpg 750w, https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/41\/2026\/05\/Suzanne-Gorman-750x50020260428_TCF_IMC_9749-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through UWM\u2019s mechanical engineering bachelor\u2019s program and accelerated master\u2019s degree program, along with her work in the College of Engineering &amp; Applied Science makerspace, Suzanne Gorman developed strong technical skills. \u201cI had tons of support from faculty and other students,\u201d she said. She also plans to pursue a graduate degree at Georgia Tech in 2027, focusing on advancing AI solutions.
