{"id":155012,"date":"2026-04-06T10:33:51","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T15:33:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=155012"},"modified":"2026-04-06T10:33:51","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T15:33:51","slug":"showcase-to-highlight-experiential-learning-on-may-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/showcase-to-highlight-experiential-learning-on-may-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Showcase to highlight experiential learning on May 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UWM students, faculty and staff are invited to the Spring 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/set\/event\/experiential-learning-showcase\/\">Experiential Learning Showcase<\/a> on Wednesday, May 13, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Vogel Hall. The event will highlight UWM&#8217;s experiential learning opportunities and celebrate the students who are sharing the results of that learning.<\/p>\n<p>The Center for Student Experience &amp; Talent will be hosting multiple student panel discussions, along with poster presentations. We will also have video presentations running throughout the day, and a social media takeover event that will give attendees real-time access to experiential learning.<\/p>\n<p>Also new this semester is our\u00a0first faculty-community partner talk. We will hear from <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/architecture\/directory\/rehbein-krisann\/\">Krisann Rehbein<\/a> from UWM\u2019s School of Architecture and Urban Planning and Fidel Verdin from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trueskool.org\/\">TRUE\u00a0Skool\u00a0<\/a>about their successful\u00a0experiential learning\u00a0partnership\u00a0related to the design of the\u00a0future\u00a0TRUE\u00a0Skool\u00a0facility.<\/p>\n<p>This talk, scheduled to close out the showcase at 5 p.m., will also transition us into this academic year&#8217;s final Learn Deep Collab Lab.
