Students have the opportunity to travel to Asheville, North Carolina, to explore Appalachian culture and communities by volunteering and engaging in community-based learning.<\/p>\n<p>Participants volunteer at various non-profit agencies while enhancing their leadership skills. In addition to service, students have opportunities to explore Asheville and create new friendships.<\/p>\n<p>If you have questions, visit the Community Engagement and Experiential Learning Office in the UWM Student Union, Room E153, or email Andy West at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:defores2@uwm.edu\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">leader1@uwm.edu<\/a>.
