Derek Webb, UWM records officer, and Shiraz Bhathena, digital archivist, will walk employees through some fundamentals of records management such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How does records management benefit campus offices and employees?<\/li>\n<li>Who is responsible for managing records?<\/li>\n<li>What all counts as a \u201crecord?\u201d<\/li>\n<li>How can I tell how long to keep records and what to do with them afterward?<\/li>\n<li>Who can I call to help me with questions I have about records management?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The workshop, which will be from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, via Teams, is open to all UWM employees who are responsible for university records.
