{"id":121308,"date":"2023-05-19T15:34:29","date_gmt":"2023-05-19T20:34:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/?p=121308"},"modified":"2023-05-19T15:34:29","modified_gmt":"2023-05-19T20:34:29","slug":"submit-2023-fiscal-year-end-it-purchases-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/news\/submit-2023-fiscal-year-end-it-purchases-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"Submit 2023 fiscal year-end IT purchases soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All non-catalog orders for computer hardware and software purchases must be submitted to IT Purchasing no later than Wednesday, May 24, to be entered with funding for this fiscal year (FY23).<\/p>\n<p>To make a request for an IT purchase, please use the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/technology\/purchase-request\/\">Purchase Request Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you need assistance determining what computers or other IT equipment your department should replace, please contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/technology\/help\/\">UWM Help Desk<\/a>\u00a0to request an inventory of equipment. IT professionals can also discuss with you the best options for upgrading or replacing computer hardware.<\/p>\n<p>Some other information about purchasing within the fiscal year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The IT purchase must be charged within the current fiscal year to use current funds. Most vendors charge on the date the item ships, not the date it was ordered.
