The Financial Services Transformation Project, part of the 2030 initiative, is intended to respond to school\/college restructuring, decreased staffing and the upcoming\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/atp.wisconsin.edu\/\">Administrative Transformation Program<\/a>\u00a0throughout the UW System. This project will include the umbrella of finance functions across both academic and administrative units.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0administrative transformation program\u00a0is a broader effort throughout the UW System to rebuild finance processes, policies and technology reduce the complexity of workflows and increase flexibility.\u00a0Redesigning finance processes should create more accurate data for decision-making, expand reporting capabilities and increase the security of financial information.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of this project is to achieve a finance structure that supports campus leadership and reflects UWM\u2019s mission and resource levels through assessment and enhancement of the finance function and related processes.<\/p>\n<p>As the project progresses, information will be available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwm.edu\/business-financial-services\/\">Business and Financial Services website<\/a>.
