Cutlines, or photo captions, for top stories and photo galleries should be two sentences. The first sentence should be written in present tense and describe what is happening in the photograph, identifying those pictured and providing the time and location. The second sentence should put the photograph into context. The cutline also must include a photo credit, with the name of the photo owner and, when possible, individual photographer.<\/p>\n
