Volunteers sought for free injury screening and treatment sessions

Do you have an ache or pain in your arm or leg? The UWM Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Athletic Training students are recruiting volunteers for a free injury screen with up to two treatment sessions included.

Volunteers needed are asked to have simple muscle or joint aches, or pains to the arms/legs to provide practice opportunities for students to screen and treat injuries.

Times for the sessions are as follows, and are available on a limited basis. Please arrive 15 minutes early.

-Monday, April 29, either 7:30-8:45 a.m. or 9:-10:15 a.m. OR
-Wednesday, May 1, either 7:30-8:45 a.m. or 9-10:15 a.m. OR
-Friday, May 3, either 7:30-8:45 a.m. or 9-10:15 a.m.

Follow up appointments (30 minute slots) are on:
-Monday, May 6, between 9:00-11:00 a.m. OR
-Wednesday, May 8, between 9:30-11:00 a.m.

Appointments will not be guaranteed until confirmed. Students are seeking a maximum of 15 participants.

Eligible participants include students and employees of UWM who are not under medical care for a complaint and do not havework related injuries.

The sessions will be located in the Northwest Quad The Performance Injury Clinic in room G458 (lower level).
