The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will host a news conference on Wednesday, Nov. 6, to announce one of the largest donations in the university’s history. The event begins at 9 a.m. in the harbor-side “garage” on the first floor of the School of Freshwater Sciences building, 600 E. Greenfield Ave.

Speakers include UWM Chancellor Mark Mone, Greater Milwaukee Foundation President and CEO Ellen Gilligan and UWM School of Freshwater Sciences Dean Val Klump.

At around 9:20 a.m. there will be an opportunity for members of the media to shoot photos or video.
