UWM Spring Walk and Roll Challenge promotes fitness and wellbeing

The UWM Spring Walk and Roll Challenge is a five week fitness challenge designed to promote wellbeing through physical activity of walking or cycling. People can participate as a walker or a cyclist, either individually, or as a member of up to a three person team.

For the Walk and Roll Challenge, walkers and cyclists will compete against each other. Walkers will log their daily steps and Cyclists will log their daily miles. Each week, results will be posted and totaled up by the number of steps walked and miles ridden, with an application of a conversion factor.

Participants may walk or cycle indoors or outdoors, on a treadmill or on an exercise bike.

The Walk and Roll Challenge begins on Monday, April 15, and runs through Sunday, May 19.

All participants will receive a free giveaway, while supplies last.

If you participate in the challenge as a cyclist, you will be given a free 30-day pass to use Bublr Bikes.

Register now before it’s too late. For more information and registration, please visit the Walk and Roll Challenge website.
