UWM Gives to UWM

UWM faculty, staff and alumni bring ideas to life, lead our most respected institutions and extend Milwaukee’s influence around the world. In addition to our day-to-day work, many university employees donate to an area of our institution.

The annual UWM Gives to UWM campaign is a great opportunity to support  the university’s people, projects and programs. We encourage you to make your gift by the end of April, which is UWM Gives to UWM month, although gifts received before the end of the fiscal year on June 30th will be counted. You may designate your gift to any area of the university.

UWM Gives to UWM is a voluntary workplace giving campaign. It’s an opportunity for all current and retired faculty, staff and their spouses to support a favorite UWM initiative, department or scholarship. Private support from alumni, friends, faculty and staff provides a funding source outside the budget to help us achieve our goals.

All gifts help the campaign for UWM. The $200 million campaign, which was launched on Sept. 25, 2017, is the largest fundraising campaign in the university’s history. Contributions support scholarships and fellowships that allow us to further student success, fund the research that earns us recognition as one of the nation’s top 115 research universities and promotes our commitment to work that engages the community.

Whatever the cause, gifts from faculty and staff make an impact. For more information on the campaign, please visit our webpage or contact Tom Bjornstad at bjornsta@uwm.edu or (414)-229-3298. Questions can also be directed to a development director in your school, college or division.
