MILWAUKEE _ The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, ending constitutional protections for abortion that had been in place for nearly five decades. UWM faculty members can assist reporters covering topics related to the decision.

• Sara Benesh can answer questions about the opinion and how it could affect state laws. She also can discuss the leak that led to a media report in May about a draft of the decision; public opinion of the court; how deliberations occur; and what Chief Justice John Roberts might do to prevent leaks in the future.
• Barbara Zabawa can speak about the impact that the decision could have on Wisconsin’s abortion law, which was established in 1849.
